Get more out of your IVUS images by understanding how to differentiate lesion morphologies, from deep calcium to thrombus. World-renowned faculty will also explore the limitations of angiography compared to IVUS.  

Upon completion of this continuing education course, you will:

• Understand how IVUS can help overcome some limitations of angiography in assessing underlying coronary disease.
• Identify calcium in an IVUS image and gain awareness of its implications for understanding the image and potential complications it may cause.
• Recognize how different features of fatty and fibrotic plaque appear on IVUS.
