Upon completion of this continuing education course, you will:
- Understand how IVUS can help overcome some limitations of angiography in assessing underlying coronary disease.
- Identify calcium in an IVUS image and gain awareness of its implications for understanding the image and potential complications it may cause.
- Recognize how different features of fatty and fibrotic plaque appear on IVUS.
